$3 Trillion Budget? Are You Serious?

Published by Gayla at 3:23 pm under Politics

More deficits, more debt, more tax cuts, more cutbacks in services we really need!

Can someone explain to me what is right about a $3 trillion spending plan that would provide a big boost to defense and protect Bush’s signature tax cuts almost entirely throughout the term of the incoming President?

As I’ve said many times over, I’m by no means a scholar in the area of politics, but my own feeling is this President needs to have his spending abilities CUT OFF. President Bush is like a bipolar loose cannon on a major manic spending spree.

How can we possibly expect to protect ourselves in a time of national crisis if we are beyond broke?

I just do NOT get this President’s logic and I hardly by in to his scare tactics. I’m much more afraid of what’s crossing our own borders and I fear that’s being discounted and swept under the rug.

I truly do want to understand what’s going on in this country – but simple math and logic tells me it’s not about the budget, it’s not about the people – it’s about who has the most power.
