Not even a kiss on the way out the door…
Only a true American will understand what I’m about to say - everyone else, I’d LOVE if you would chime in on how wonderful it is to have health care that doesn’t bend you over every chance it gets! Please. Do. Let my fellow American’s know that our health care system really does suck ass!
I have to wonder what sort of scam is being ran between the insurance companies, health care providers and our government. A few months ago, I began keeping track of EVERY single doctors visit - every single test - every single, well, everything that pertained to medication, doctors and insurance.
What I’ve found is a constant flow of bills and charges that are being sent under a blue million different account numbers.
What exactly is the racket? I have to wonder just how many people are being screwed without so much as a thanks or a kiss blown across the room on the way out the door?
Just this morning I received a call from Med One Solutions (Just how many flippin’ collection agencies ARE there?) - telling me my husband owes bills from September of 2007.
Anyone who knows me knows I’m as anal as they day is long when it comes to organization. While I had the ‘collection specialist’ on the phone, I asked her to give me account numbers and details of the charges. She told me I had to request that in writing - that it could take up to 30 days and in the mean time, the charges were going on my husbands credit report.
Amazing they want their money NOW - but I have to WAIT for the answers to the question "What the Frap am I paying for?"
I’d like to bend every flippin politician over and torpedo their ass with a truck full of unpaid doctor bills of every hard working American who’s being scammed to cover the asses of the illegal immigrants that are getting free health care because of scams just like this one.
I Gar-In-Fruk-In-Tee ya I won’t be paying one more bill until I’ve got the itemized statement from BOTH Med One Solutions AND my insurance company AND the hospital/doctors offices.
Anyone else feel the same way? Do you pay close attention to your doctor bills?
If not, you should!

I love your Flippin It category! I had to add the phrase to my spell check today which was fun.
I also like that you use the phrase “suck ass” in your post. It’s good to call it as you see it.
I keep track of our medical bills very carefully. When I get a medical bill I file it away. When I get a medical insurance statement I file it away. In other words, I don’t pay squat until the health insurance company and the medical billing office works it out between them.
Once I receive the medical bill that shows where the insurance paid for their portion and now it’s my turn to pay for mine.. that is when I pay. That’s the ONLY time I pay.
I don’t think anybody should ever pay the full amount because you will pull the hair out of your head trying to get your portion back. Let them work it out first — then you pay.
That’s how we do it.
What do you think they will do when we all become street people? After taking our houses, because we lost our jobs and can no longer get to work due to the price of gas.
Oh yes we can’t forget the illegal workers they hired to do the jobs (our jobs) they say, “American citizen’s will not do.”
When families are sick and can’t afford to go to the doctor. What will become of those poor doctor’s, pharmaceutical companies, oh yes we can’t forget the wonderful insurance companies.
Well there goes the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, for all of those wonderful caring government employees, and companies. No jobs, no taxes.

We dont use doctors…seriously..I haven’t been to a doc since 1987 when I got my gall bladder out..except for my first intake checkup with the VA last summer.
When Marc’s knees started getting really bad though, and his depression was obviously not going away we went to the VA…Now we are paying close to 90 a month in co-pays for his meds, o.k.? He lost his job because of his disability, he goes between using crutches,and using a wheel chair, they have him at 10% disability ($117per month) and that just about covers our gasoline to the VA and the meds. Both of us are military veterans.
NOW, living in Dallas we are close to Parkland hospital. A teaching hospital, and also the country hospital.
Illegal aliens are getting free medical care, no copays, and some of them are collecting disability.
Now a local town has passed laws to enforce laws that were all ready on the books against illegals…Oklahoma is doing the same thing..and you would think they were sending these illegals to the nazi gas chambers. The uproar!
Now the system is clogged with all kinds of lawsuits championing people who aren’t even supposed to be here.
And we have been fighting for 3 years for what is rightfully ours in Marc’s disability. We can’t afford a lawyer…LOL!
I wonder if I learned spanish if I could pass as an illegal?

well..would you believet hat I come here to look at it and smile, rather often? Do you know that I never ever swear..i just don;t..haven’t for years and years…and something set me off on a SUNDAY no less a couple of weeks ago, and I channeled my boot camp drill sergeant for about 20 minutes? It was amazing because I don;t even think he is dead.
