You’ll find no argument here. Watercress is currently also being also tested as a replacement for the costly cancer drug tomoxiphen, on breast cancer survivors. In the UK they have a primitive ‘lottery system’ for dispensing this drug through their social medicine system…the results of this study are due to be released early next year…wouldn’t that put a nice dent in the pharmaceutical money machine.

The smoking studies have been conducted in Germany and the US, and replicated in the UK, where watercress is far better known by the general populous.

Socrates built his first hospital next to watercress beds and used the herb extensively in detox and blood purification treatments. They’ve even found remnants of watercress in a recently discovered medevil hospital near Stonehedge, and suspect it was used for dental treatments.

It is a powerful and little know super-veggie. Packed with A, C, K Potassium, magnesium, manganese, folate, iron and tons of micr-nutrients.

      Spread the word…Eat More Watercress.
