Democrats may vote for McCain
"A sizable proportion of Democrats would vote for John McCain in the upcoming presidential election if he is matched against the candidate they do not support for the Democratic nomination."
"This is particularly true for Hillary Clinton supporters," they add, "more than a quarter of whom currently say they would vote for McCain if Barack Obama is the Democratic nominee."
I happen to be one of them! I’ll vote for McCain in a heartbeat if Clinton doesn’t win the nomination!
I absolutely cannot and will not vote for a candidate who sees something as significant as wearing an American lapel pin as trivial. This tells me he is 1) out of touch with the American people and 2) not as patriotic (even symbolic) as he should be.
It’s the little things that mean a lot to me when it comes to a candidate and Barack hasn’t offered up any ‘little things’ that I can believe in.
I don’t like that he won’t sing the anthem -
I don’t like that he won’t wear an American pin during campaigning -
I don’t like that he can’t stand firm against a minister that speaks out against American’s in such a hateful way -

Got something to say?

Well said and I agree with you 100%. These things are important and he continues to say that they aren’t.
I’m right there with you. I never thought I’d vote for McCain in a million years, but everyday this drags on, the more know I will if it comes to it.
Hillary can only trash him so much because she’s from the same party. If he wins, he better be ready for can of butt whoopin’ cuz McCain will take the kid gloves off and go to town. We’ll see those skeletons come pouring out. We’ll get more pretty answers that mean nothing, but I doubt McCain lets them die so easily. Surely McCain the war veteran takes serious offense to these minor unpatriotic gestures of Obama.
He and others thought the ABC debate moderated by George Stephanopolous and Charles Gibson were too harsh? Get ready for some Republic bashing, wimps. Vote for someone that can take it or shut up all the way to polls.
I was watching Bush this morning, bragging about his talks with Korea, and all that he has planed. The free trade, along with giving aid to other countries and protecting those that are in the country illegally is killing the country I grew up in.
The people that are 60 and over are living in fear because this president has squandered all of the resources that we had set aside. He wants to bring in more workers from Mexico, well I have a great idea use some of the 20 million that are here already, oh yes I forgot they won’t work for wages that are so low.
The young people that are graduating college can’t get a job because the jobs are going out of the country, or the companies are bringing workers in from other countries.
My husband and I had to leave the US because we could not afford health insurance after I was hurt working on a government job; I now have a preexisting illness is that not ironic? Oh yes but Bush seems to think that the health care of the illegal people the US is more important then the tax paying citizens. I am so angry that we have been sold out to other countries, and to the oil companies.
I now live 3000 mile away from all of those that I love because politicians could care less about us, as they grow richer by the day. While the rest of the country is left to worry about such things as putting a roof over their family’s heads, and food on the table. Need I say there is noting left for health care and educations?
