Summertime Allergy Relief
Asians have utilized the healing powers of ginger for centuries; ginger is a natural antihistamine, and decongestant . It can provide relief from allergy symptoms by dilating constricted bronchial tubes. Look for foods that contain ginger, and ginger root supplements can be found in health food stores.
Along with ginger studies have shown that magnesium deficiency can release histamines and accentuate allergic responses. Magnesium also helps to relieve constricted airways and reduce bronchial discomfort associated with allergies.
Several food sources contain magnesium; you can also find magnesium supplements in your local pharmacy, or health food store.

Got something to say?

Hi Gayla, I just wanted to let you know that Asians get really offended when they are called “orientals.” Oriental refers to objects…like an oriental vase, or oriental top ramen LOL. From what I understand, people are Asians, objects are oriental. (I only know this because of past experience! LOL)
Diane, I’ll be sure to let my mom know. She’s “Grammy” here. But I would have likely made the same mistake. I guess you could say that when it comes to being politically correct, I will refrain from the typical offensive terms like the N word and the other more similar phrases. Beyond that, if someone takes offense to my writing, I’ve got a special little red X in the upper right they can click on
Politically correct phrases are updated almost daily - before long we won’t be able to say squat!
I find it pathetic that I have to worry about discussing my pork chop dinner around Mexicans - my Jap sauce around Asians and my former pet named spooky around blacks.
Too much emphasis is placed on words.
If I keep going I’ll have a whole other post going
