Ronald Reagan

Published by Jody at 7:05 pm under Grammy's Corner

I am 63 years old and I can remember well all the republican presidents form Eisenhower until today, believe me when I say that everyone of them have thought only of the rich.

When I turn on the TV and hear everyone holding Ronald Reagan in such high esteem I want to scream. This man was not a president for all people he also gave only to the rich, and gave amnesty to the Mexican illegals taking jobs from hard working Americans. Once again rich businessmen got even richer

We now have a president (Bush) that thinks only of the rich and doesn’t care that he and his friends are getting richer by the day at the expense of the middle class and the lives of our young men dying for their greed of oil.

I can remember my father being off work and standing in the snow cutting up old cars to sell as scrape, and hauling coal from Kentucky to Indiana just to feed his family when Eisenhower was in the white house.

I remember my husband and I both working everyday and all of the over time we could get just to keep our heads above water and try not to lose our farm when Reagan was in power.

Bush1 put my son-in-law into a war that has caused him a number of problems even unto this day.

Now our wonderful president gives the illegals medical care and attorneys while treating our solders with no respect.

I can’t believe that there are people that will elect and republican, can’t they see that our country is going under?

I can not afford to live in my own country because I was hurt on a government job therefore I have a preexisting illness and can not afford insurance.

The middle class pay more in taxes then their employer does. Is this fare?

Please open your eyes before it is to late.

The government is in our personal business now more than ever and call it “war on terror” – from my perspective, the republicans are up in our business far more than any of the liberals ever have been.

I like Hillary, but even if Obabma were to win it would be better then another Bush in the white house. I have never seen our country in so much trouble and so hated. If we do not see a change this election, the country that I know and love will no longer exist within a short period of time.

Bush is the one that has the wiretaps. I think that people should study their history. Then you will know the real truth. I have lived it. I have never voted to please my parents.

I try to help to make this world a better place for all of those that work so hard and never get credit for it. I have seen so many lose jobs, homes, savings, and health care with Bush in office. Funds cut to our schools, jobs going out of the country, or given to those that are illegal in our country.

People having to choose between paying their bills, feeding their kids, or putting gas in their car you can forget health care. Wake up people, just because you have it good today doesn’t mean that it won’t all be gone tomorrow like millions of others.

They say they don’t want in our biz all while they are diving in our biz head first.

I just don’t get the conservative thought process. How and when did Bush et. al stay out of our business? They didn’t but rather, they manipulated the American people with fear and control – to make us want to give up our privacy.

I can’t stand Bush and can’t wait until he is gone! However, the legacy he’s leaving behind will take the next four Presidents to clean up. Unfortunately there aren’t enough Clintons lining up to do the clean up.

Bill may have been a cheat like a very large portion of men – but dang, he did have our economy in a much better place.

I say let the towel heads blow themselves up – bring our troops home, close our borders and get our economy out of the recession or slowdown as Dubya likes to call it.

I’m in a really pissy mood right now – hating our government all the more for the place I’m stuck in. And yes, I’m stuck – I can’t lower anymore bills. I can’t give up my internet because that would be giving up my job like so many people try to point out to me. That my internet and my websites should be the first to go – well F them for breathing good oxygen too.

I resent the hell out of not being able to be a stay at home mom who doesn’t have to work all the flippin time – my kids are growing up so fast and I feel like I’m missing so much.

At this point, I think Obama would be better then what we have and I certainly can’t take more of the same – I will totally lose it if we do. I mean, really, truly flippin lose it!
