Indiana Flash Flood Photo Diary

I’m listing the images here for the flood that has taken place at my home so it will be easy to share with friends, family, proper authorities for assistance and contractors for repair.

This is a view looking into the basement when I was afraid to go any further for fear of shock or electrocution.

The basement was very cool.  All the kids loved it - Very “That 70’s Show” ish…

The cracks are beginning to appear on the ceilings of the main floor now.

If you have words of wisdom - experience with emergency disaster funding, construction and repair, flooding basements, etc.  Please feel free to leave comments.  We’re looking for the hope and wisdom anyone can provide.

Would anyone know whether or not the “State”, Indiana, Ohio, ect., is allowing “outside the state” building contractors, to assist in the recovery of flood victums or not? Have they put in place a reciprocal agreement with the contracors outside the state? Florida allowed anyone to help during the Hurricanes.

    Got something to say?
