Barack VP pick – be among the first to know

An email from David Plouffe, campaign manager for Sen. Barack Obama, sent tonight to supporters is sure to stoke speculation about the candidate’s announcement of who his choice for vice president will be.

In a message entitled “Barack’s VP: Be the First to Know,” Plouffe writes: “Barack Obama is about to make one of the most important decisions of this campaign — choosing a running mate.”

Plouffe goes on to ask supporters to sign up online (or via text message) in order to be the “first to know” when Obama makes up his mind on his vice presidential nominee.

One thing I have noticed about the Barak Obama campaign is they are very creative with their marketing techniques.

McCain’s camp can make fun of tire pressure gauges all they want, but I’m thinking something is working and it’s not the slam techniques from the GOP.

That said… I was alerted to a third candidateBob Barr.  I’ll be taking a much closer look at Mr. Barr over the coming weeks.  Perhaps it’s time we kick the the Republicans and Democrats to the curve and stand up for real change.  Ya think?

Instead of trying to vote for the lesser of two evils or even on an anyone but… ticket, why not consider making your vote stand for something really powerful?
