Mike Huckebee Stretching the Truth? The Sky IS Falling

FORMER ARKANSAS GOV. MIKE HUCKABEE: Palin “got more votes running for mayor of Wasilla, Alaska than Joe Biden got running for president of the United States.”

THE FACTS: A whopper. Palin got 616 votes in the 1996 mayor’s election, and got 909 in her 1999 re-election race, for a total of 1,525. Biden dropped out of the race after the Iowa caucuses, but he still got 76,165 votes in 23 states and the District of Columbia where he was on the ballot during the 2008 presidential primaries.

Thoughts – Now why would someone exaggerate the truth THAT much unless they know what so many people already know and that being that some will latch on to the word of the GOP as if it were gospel and not believe anything or anyone else.

This is probably one of the most silly exaggerations and stretched truths revealed by the AP investigation into the facts or lack thereof surrounding the GOP convention.

I’m sure the left is just as guilty of exaggerations and I’ll be doing my homework looking into those too – this whole revelation has me a little on the pissed side. How are people supposed to sort through the lies and garbage and get to the actual facts when statements like this are thrown at random and so easily disguised as the truth?

Not everyone has the ability or resources to seek the absolute truths – how terrible that there are so many votes that are being cast on lies – stretched truths and obvious ploys to secure votes.

Can anyone show me one single honest politician? I think they are as rare as vegetarian snakes, to be honest.

    I’m luckier than most, to have the time to research the claims by each side. I was shocked to find that most of Sarah Palin’s speech was inaccurate. Selling the jet for a profit (never happened), the gas pipeline hasn’t been completed and she’s earmarked 197million for Alaska in 2007 alone. Sad but true, they depend on the millojns of people that drink the Kool Aid and it works. My ex-mother-in-law sent me an email telling me to pray for Sister Sarah???

    They are counting on many people to be sheep and the sad and true reality is…they won’t be let down.
