I interrupt regular programming to make an announcement

Published by Gayla at 6:29 pm under Coffee Break

It was brought to my attention via a “mutual friend” that is still between me and a “former friend” that the former friend took offense to my previous post. Well, it wasn’t about her. When it comes to blogging in a network, SO much content gets copied and it gets very frustrating. If she found herself in that post then I’d say, well, I’m not sure what to say.

I don’t follow her anywhere, won’t follow her anywhere, don’t subscribe anywhere and don’t care to – hopefully she can find it in her heart to move on and let go just as I have done.

I truly am much too busy to entertain drama – have no room in my life for the anger and resentment.  All things happen for a reason – I harbor no ill feelings and truly wish her all the best.

Now back to the regular programming – sorry for that interruption.

Then why comment/post about it at all? If said person wasn’t the aforementioned why did you feel the need to write this post? If you’ve moved on from whatever it was – why are you still discussing it?

I chose to response for NO other reason than because I don’t want my friends and readers to think I’m just going to ignore this – however, I do ask that you let this be the last bit of communication you have with me on behalf of your new BFF.

I actually care enough to not place some of our mutual friends in an awkward position. I assure you, that chapter of my life is over.

And if you would PLEASE relay the message to her to stop talking about me, addressing me in any way or even speaking in a cryptic manner that may be misinterpreted as reference to me, I would be so appreciative.

Now, be warned, I will be closing this chapter and will not comment further. I’ve no desire to and if I should be subjected to further discussion, I will close comments – which I really prefer not to do.

    Thanks!
