Just wondering…

If a woman chooses not to have an abortion and the child turns out to be gay – what would the extreme right say about that?

I have always said – and always will say – that IF people want to combat the whole abortion issue, they MUST begin the change at home. Start talking to kids at home about the possibilities, explain the risks, the options, etc.

If parents would spend more time instilling stronger morals, values and virtues in their own kids instead of of spending so much time cramming their beliefs down everyone else’s throat – they might be able to encourage change.

Can you imagine a world in which people actually took responsibility for their actions – where they made informed decisions and where people actually taught their children to think for themselves instead of forcing their opinions on everyone else.

Frankly, I believe the “safe choice” should be there – otherwise we will return to the times when girls duck into dark allies and take horrible risks to terminate an unwanted pregnancy. I also believe everyone should be responsible for their own decisions. If they want to stand before God on judgment day and explain why they did what they did – that’s on their shoulders.

People don’t need whacked out Bible thumpers cramming beliefs down their throat. More and more people are turning against church because all the plastic people are trying to force them to conform to a certain cookie cutter way of life.

I wonder how those people will respond when God asks them why they harped on so many and turned so many away from church? Will those lives be recognized as lost?
