Not Before Coffee

My son came home from school the other day to reveal an interesting revelation to me. The conversation went something like this:

Son: “Mom, friend 1 and friend 2 think you are hot!”

Me: “Oh they do, do they?”

Son: “Yeah, they asked me how old you were too.”

Me: “Do you even know how old I am? What did you tell them?”

Son: “I told them you were 50”

Me: “WHAT? Do you NOT know how old I am?”

Son: “Yeah, you’re 40 – but I told them 50 to make you look even better.”

Me: “Ohhhh, I see. Well, just for the record kiddo – I’m 41. But you’re close enough. Bee-Tee-Dubya – those friends can’t come visit – Ever!”

Son: “M-kay.”
