This is something that she has to do if she wants to be able to go places and go out with friends. I also have taught her that if she eats something that requires dirtying a dish, that she must wash her own plate and mess after herself if she doesn't want to wash ALL the dishes. This has really cut down on the mess that I have to clean up after.
