For those of you that are looking for an economical way to get to get away for just a couple of days all you need do is check out the deals on line.
There are a number of deals that may fit your very need and you can also call the motel yourself and ask for a better rate.
I recently called Expedia to make a reservation, but the catch there is if you have to change the date or your trip is canceled you still pay.
Upon arriving at our destination I found I could have gotten the same or better rate by calling the motel myself. When you make the arrangements with the motel you can cancel as long as you do it within 24 hours of the time you were to arrive.
You need to remember that motels are in a position to make you a great deal now more than ever.
