Not Before Coffee

Michael Jackson had a very sad life, it seems as though he spent his life looking for the place where he belonged. Like the rest of the children in his family he never had a a real childhood.

I know that Michael made a lot of mistakes and caused a lot of pain for some, but he also brought a lot of joy. He had demons that he had to deal with daily. It is so sad that the joy he searched for never seemed to come his way.

We have all heard the old saying that money can not buy happiness, well we have seen this now in two of our greatest artist Michael and Elvis.

My hope is that for his children’s sake the press will not drag his name through the mud, these children deserve some happiness and peace.

The Jackson children including Michael were all raised by his parents in a strict Jehovah’s Witness home. Michael made a decision in 1987, to leave the religion after his sister LaToya was shunned due to the religions strict rules and belief one of the rules being leisure activities were forbidden.

Joseph Jacksons wife Katherine kept their children locked in a tiny 2 bedroom house while their father worked nights. The Jackson children secretly sneaked out of their father’s sight to practice singing, dancing and playing music.

Later Joseph and his wife became the children’s managers. It has been reported that Joseph was physically and mentally abusive to his children throughout their childhood. This abuse caused Michael problems throughout his adult life as well.
