Yay! Glad I could help inspire this post!

It's so true though. The statements that are thrown out there with a backend defense of "feminism" are sometimes quite absurd. They range, of course, but some are outrageous.

Now, take this all with whatever grain of your choice, but while I'm pretty proud of the fact that I know I'm capable of trekking an acre and a half with a 50lb bag of feed on each shoulder without falling, and doing it daily... I'm also quite ecstatic when, as I said in the other discussion, I'm in a girly dress with my hair and nails done, wearing something sparkly on my earlobes, and I'm sitting across the table at a nice restaurant from a man who opened the door and pulled out my chair, and he orders for me. Yes, it makes me FEEL GOOD.

I enjoy tweezing my eyebrows into a pretty arch that shows off my mascara'd lashes and my green eyes.
I love lipstick.
Perfectly polished pink nails (fingers AND toes) make me smile.
I mentioned it already, but sparkly things amuse me.
Dresses. Are. Pretty.
I'm absolutely dying to be a wife and mom.
I'm a lot stronger, physically and emotionally, than most women I know.
I make more money, per hour, than many men I know. Often 3-4 times as much.
I can, and do, "man's work" around the house (when I'm single). I prefer to have my man do it if and when I'm taken.
I vote every year.

Personally, I love knowing that I have the ability to do anything a man can do (and yes, maybe even better), but the smarts to know when to let him do it so I can spend more time painting my nails.
