War at Home
Hello Washington D.C. are you blind to what is going on across our border in Mexico, as well as in our own country? People are dying by the thousands.
On ABC News it was reported that Mexican security forces have shot and killed a leading drug lord Arturo Beltran Leyva in their largest strike yet, the fear is that his death could trigger more bloodshed.
Beltran Leyva had a price on his head of $ 2.4 million in Mexico for organized crime. He was wanted in the United States as well, for organized crime and kidnapping there is also an indictment against him for cocaine smuggling.
Beltran Leyva’s cartel is only one of six in Mexico whose turf wars have killed more than 16,000 of their people since late 2006.
In spite of 49,000 troops being deployed across Mexico, drug killings have soared this year to an unprecedented 7,000 kidnapping, torture and decapitations are not uncommon.
This war is spilling over into the United States at an alarming pace, unless we bring our troops home to protect our own borders we are going to see thousands die on both sides.
Would someone please tell me why we are fighting 2 wars in countries the hate us, and are rebuilding their countries just so they can blow them up again.
Our government wants to make sure that these people have health care and homes to live in. Well guess what Americans would like these things as well, after all their Tax dollars pays for them.
With the money that has gone into these wars for 8 years our children could have better educations, health care and homes to go to after school as well as something to eat when they get home.
Just the other day America was set aside and other countries were given the vast majority of the oil rights in these same countries.
These people have been fighting for over 5 thousand years; they are not going to stop now.
