Just because something can be said… Doesn’t mean it should be said

just seen on the news where unemployment benefits run out for over 30,000 hoosiers tomorrow. While it is unfortunate I can’t say I feel sorry for them. There are jobs out there to be had. However, most of these people are former auto workers, who in my opinion had it coming. Especially since they thought they needed, including benefits, upwards of $65 to $85 an hour. That’s just ridiculous!!!!

First thought – Bitter much?

Second thought – That statement was made on Facebook by someone who has a fairly extensive list of friends (not me though) who have strong ties to the auto industry.

Whether they are former employees, kids of those employees, parents, relatives or friends – you can’t take a single step in this county – or state for that matter, without having some connection to an automaker.

I understand the opinion and opinions are like behinds, everyone has one – but for God’s sake, people really do need to think about what they say before they say it.

Karma can be a real bitch and personally, I’d be afraid a comment like this would come back on me 10 fold and place me right in line with all those unemployed autoworkers who just ran out of unemployment benefits.

It’s the internet – nothing is private and nothing EVER goes away!
