Above the Law - Inspiring Kids Everywhere
I have to admit, over the last year or so, I’ve added more poundage than I care to admit - but daggone. I realized around Christmas that I was no longer happy with myself, nor my weight and there was NO way in hell I was going to buy the next size jeans. NUH UH - absolutely NO way! The fact that my family photos from that time revealed a much rounder face on me than I care to have was the inspiration for me to do something about my weight.
I say this so that everyone realizes I’m not just some skinny assed beeyoch (used to be, will be again very soon - just not right now) sitting back being all judgmental with what I’m about to say. Albeit, I am being judgmental, just in a fellow lard assed kinda way.
So here’s my beef…
Sure our kids are lured to the fast food restaurants where every kids menu is found to be too high in fat content or calories - but taking a kid out to eat for a little high calorie fix now and again isn’t such a big deal.
Now, when it comes to role models for kids to look up to, who would you rather be like?

One is a judge and one is one effed up celebrity.
So now, on to the whole point that got me riled up for this post…
The thing is, this judge, Elizabeth Halverson is now banned from sitting the bench because she abused power. Much like celebrities, now that I think about it.
Her former bailiff, for example, says Halverson made him feel like a “houseboy.” He says the judge — who is obese and uses a motorized scooter to get around — made him put her shoes on her feet, massage her back, cover her with a blanket for naps and make sure her oxygen tank was filled. He says she asked him, “Do you want to worship me from near or afar?”
Halverson also surrounded herself with her own hired guards, saying she did not trust the courthouse security force to protect her. Another time, she allegedly had her husband sworn in so that she could ask him under oath whether he had completed chores at home.
Of course she’s denying the allegations, but seriously folks, does it look like this woman has ever done a damn thing for herself?
I’m inclined to believe the allegations.
