Personally, I think the youth of today are surrounded by horrible examples of success. The few times I have channel surfed and paused to see what was up with the Kardashians – I saw bickering, whining, self-centered, spoiled-rotten people who make their fortunes living in a glass house. I have seen kids speaking to their mother in a way that would have gotten my mouth smacked ten-ways-to-Sunday.
Kris Jenner is a delusional mother standing in defense of her daughter – that’s understandable! But for God’s sake – don’t call her the “embodiment of the American Dream.” And, I won’t even begin to say what I think of her comment about Kanye – that’s just laughable, seriously-side-splitting-laughable!
Like him or not – Obama was right! The shift in our culture has resulted distorted views of what we are and who we aspire to become.
