While scanning my Facebook news feed, I read this bit about the following comment made by Chrissy Teigen:
John Legend's wife Chrissy Teigen has one rule in her house for her husband, she says: “No hot nannies, drivers, or maids. I trust John, but you never know with these men.”
I remember a couple of years ago, a Dr. Phil episode that had guests from Dancing with the Stars. At one point, Dr. Phil and Robin were asked if they would ever consider appearing on the show. Robin made a comment, something about “no woman is going to wrap her legs around my husband like that.”
It wasn't that Robin is insecure or controlling, it's because she is smart.
As much as I thought Robin was being a smart wife when she made her comment, I think Chrissy is being smart by setting these boundaries in place before they ever have children.
In fact, I often tease my own husband about him getting old and one day his needing to have a nurse take care of him. I often joke that I will find the biggest, gayest, hairiest nurse to tend to him.
It's called being smart in marriage. Anyone who calls it different is just wrong!
