I’ve always heard that Indiana is one of three states that charge book rental. I’m not sure how true that is, but I do remember when Indiana was looking to bring in the Hoosier Lottery, it was supposed to offset some of those fees. Considering the prices of our schools books, I find it difficult to believe. So, rather than getting my feathers ruffled again – even when I don’t have kids in school anymore – I thought I would take a poll in various places around the Internet to see what others are paying in other states, cities, and countries.
